Skate dancer
Where can I find an artistic roller-blading coach around Plano, TX (near Dallas)? The few roller rinks around town are not managed well so they don't offer organized lessons. My 9 yr old girl is so talented and focused on improving. She had a start in gymnastics but always wanted to join rhythmic gymnastics. She is taking Latin dance now but the roller rink is her favorite place. She can practice for hours. I don't want her talent to go to waste. If you can give us some direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just had one of my competitive skaters move to Plano so he's been checking out the rinks in that area. There are 3 rinks that he likes with qualified coaches. I'm not sure if you're looking for group lessons or private lessons for your daughter but if she has a talent for skating, then I'd recommend private lessons so she can learn correctly and perhaps get into competition if she cares to.
He said all 3 rinks are about a 1/2 drive from Plano.
He recommends the Aloha Roller Palace 1st because there's a lot of kids taking private lessons there, so she would have friends & help right away. The girl coach there is a National Champion so your daughter would have very good instruction.
