Old parts- base

2016/7/22 14:38:40

Question
Hi,
I have bought an old board, not sure what brand it is, no markings etc. It has an old school adjustable track for the base and a dagger board, it appears to plastic, high volume, long and narrow. I need a new base cup base. It is connected to the main base by a single bolt. It is not a "twist on" and looks like a chinnock US bases, except it has no pins. It is a single yellow piece of plastic, it has sheves and a jam cleat but it they are all part of this single pastic base, no moveing parts/ pulleys or metel jam cleat.

Do you know what tyope of board it is so I can start the search for a new base? An suggestion on where except ebay/ craigslist (have not had much luck)
May thanks for your time and assistance,

Answer
Hey Robert,

I have no idea what type of board you have. I could only take a guess even with a picture.

As for a new base, www.chinooksailing.com should have what you need. You may need a specific type of pin to attach to the adjustable mast track. Not knowing how your track actally works, I don't know what connection type it is.

Try to send me a good close up shot of the track and any base parts you have may help me to determine what you need.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
