SRO board

2016/7/22 14:38:43

Question
What do you know about SRO board approximate 106" in length? I am looking to get back into windsurfing after a few years away. Weigh 190; cannot water start; working on jibing.

Answer
Hey John,

I have no idea what SRO would stand for. Would need more information or a pic to determine actual brand or type of board. The length is 8'8" so would be considered a short board. Probably not quite enough flotation for you to rope start. If you have no other board, then you will need to start working on those waterstarts. Check out www.windsurfingmag.com under 'How To' for some good instructional advice. You might also Google Peter Hart for some good instructional videos.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
