Weight versus voloume

Question
Hi,
I used to windsurf  some 10 years ago level level 2 instructor.

Totally lost touch with the sport, also put on a lot of weight!! mid life + giving up smoking and all of that.
My weight is 18 stone UK, Is there a board out there that has enough volume to hold my weight that i can enjoy on a moderate to high wind day?? Back living near the coast in the UK thought i may try re-live my youth again. Regards Mike

Answer
Hey Mike,

A board with volume around 160ltr would probably work well for you. As you get your skills back, you should be able to go down to a 145ltr board. There are many new boards that would fit your needs. Check out www.windsurfingmag.com under gear for reviews and tests on a variety of boards.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
