Hi
Roommate left some surf board with full sails and wet suits.
He is traveling and wants to stay over in asia longer.
I have to sell them to make room and to pay his bills.
just wondering what the resale value is on a 9 foot seatrend - yellow and blue
and a 11 foot cobra slalom 320 - white.
they are about ten years old with no damages.
sorry if this is a stupid question but i know they have some value i just have no idea how much and would like to get something adequate as he really liked them but needs money to keep traveling. thanks so much . jo

Sorry to say that resale value on older windsurf gear is not what people expect. Much of the value depends upon the supply and demand of gear in your local area. Low demand, low price. Also, most avid sailors already have their gear and only look at used gear if it is in excellent condition and if it is something that may fill a gap in their quiver.
As for a price, I can only give a potential range. The Cobra may get $50 and the Seatrend may get that much if it is in great shape. Check your local craigslist ads under sporting goods. Search windsurf, windsurfer, and windsurfing separately for possible matches and potential pricing. Also, do the same on ebay for comparison pricing.
