Question
Hi Patrick
I am big fan of windsurfing always wanted  buy one. With two small kids something is always more important.Untill next week .I walked in to Salvation Army Store and there is it.Complete set for 35$ i couldnt past this one.Its old one but in decent condition.Brand is Alpha International board board have some kind of moving track .There is only one problem "mast base".I have two pieces one is go to the board i am calling this plug and the other go to mast. I dig out a lot of   rubber from inside plus there were two plastic washers and spring. I am guessing those two were connected together. What i can do ?  Can i find replacement base or be able to repair it with parts?I live at Orange Beach AL.Thanks for any answer sincerely Frank Halm

Answer
Alpha boards are probably around 25 or more years old.  The company is no longer in business.
I hate to tell you this but there is virtually no way to get parts for these old boards.  I would need to see a photo of all the parts to be able to determine if the part you need is one that is proprietary to that board or available from Windsurfing supply houses.

Just another thought.  The older the board the harder it is to learn on.  Equipment made in the last 5 to 10 years is so much easier to learn on.

Send a photo of all the parts and board and I will try to help.
