what litre board?

2016/7/22 14:42:04

Question
Hi, I've been using a 205 litre board but want to move on to
a smaller board. I weigh 13st. I'm in a harnesss, footstraps, and can waterstart 80% of the time. My jibes are poor. What litre board would you advise?
Many thanks.

Answer
Your jibes are poor because a 205 liter board is almost impossible to jibe properly.  I do not know the conditions you sail in but in general I would move down to a 125 litre board.  This is a great board to improve your jibes on and you can still uphaul it if needed.  A very good all around size.
