Question
I was raised in Lake Havasu - so I have water sports in my blood...just got a  super chance to buy a windsurfer, I never rigged one up and it's been about 10 years...where do I go to refresh the basics?

Answer
Hey Apryl,

If you are still in Lake Havasu area, I'm not sure where to send you. I've checked my limited resources and show nothing for shops in that area. I tried some search engines for windsurfing Lake Havasu and found that some of the resorts offer windsurfing but no details about lessons and such. You might try that avenue more extensively. Check your local yellow pages, chamber of commerce, tourist info centers etc. If you are somewhere else, I may be able to help you more.

You could go to www.iwindsurf.com, sign up for free (no pop ups, spam, or selling your email address) and post an inquiry for lessons/shops in that area. The people that post and answer posts are windsurfers from all over the planet. Lots of great info there.

As for questions about basics, please feel free to ask anything specific or otherwise and I'll be glad to help.

Best of luck and welcome back to windsurfing,
Windlover
