Best Windsurfing Boards for Family Lake Sailing: Recommendations

I have a 1984 Mistral Superlight and a 1997 Mistral Superlight II- My 5 kids love both boards and would like to buy something comparable for lake sailing.  What would recommend for the same experience? I am 5'4"- 125 lbs and use a North Sail Katana 6.0 on the Superlights

Great to hear that the kids are liking windsurfing.

There are a few newer style boards that would work well for you and your kids. Check out Bic Techno, Starboard Go & Rio, & Mistral Prodigy for good beginner boards that have dagger boards but will also perform well for intermediate/advanced sailors. There are many online shops and used gear can be found on eBay & Craigslist.
