I really need help!  I have not been doing any exercise, but have been very athletic all of my life.  I am 56 yrs. old and I'm getting a divorce-lots of stress.  I have just sold my home, blah, blah, blah.  I have gained 50 lbs.  50--I can't beleive this. I am now on a diet that is working, I work at a fur and jewelry store which is quite physically and time demanding.  I desperately need a program that will help me speed this process up because I am miserable and depressed with all of this FAT.  It isn't just a physical thing now, it is VERY mental.  But....I am tired and have a hard time creating time and energy to walk, but I know I have to.  Please help me if you can.  I will follow--I just pray it will work!  Thank you for your time and expertise!

FIRST OF ALL GET YOURSELF INTO A GOOD FRAME OF MIND, U PUT THAT WEIGHT ON AND NOW GET HAPPY AND GET INSPIRED TO GET IT OFF.  IT IS NOT SO MUCH TO DO AND DO IT SLOWLY, DO NOT GET IN A HURRY OR IT WILL COME BACK AS FAST.  GET IN A GOOD FRAME OF MIND THAT YOUR YOUNG, CAN GET INTO SHAPE AND WILL GET IN SHAPE, JUST GIVE YOURSELF TIME, PATIENCE, LOVE OF LIFE AND YOURSELF.  U MUST LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO WANT TO LOOK GREAT AND U WILL.

NOW, SET GOALS, DO I WANT TO WALK 5 MILE 10 MILE SOMETIME?
START OUT MORNINGS WALKING A MILE, SWING YOUR ARMS AT YOUR SIDE FOR EXTRA WORK.  DO THIS FOR A COUPLE WEEKS OR SO THEN SPEED UP AND POWER WALK FAST AS U CAN ARMS SWINGING FOR A MILE OR SO.  WARM UP FIRST AND COOL DOWN AFTER.
NOW, AFTER A MONTH OF POWER WALKING START TO THINK OF DISTANCE DOING THIS?

IT WILL BE NOW EASY TO GO ONE MILE, CUTTING SUGARS, CREAMS, BREADS, ETC.  EAT LOTS OF LEANS MEATS ON THE GRILL A BAKED POTATOE WITH PEPPER AND LOW FAT RANCH DRESSING ON.  USE LOW FAT EVERYTHING TILL YOUR DOWN TO THE POUNDS THAT MAKE U LOOK GREAT AND FEEL HAPPY.  PAT YOURSELF FOR DROPPING 2 LBS AND SAY, HEY, I CAN DO THIS, IT IS EASY AND I WILL DO THIS.

SET GOALS NOW FOR HOW FAR U WANT TO WALK AND START TO TRY AND REACH THEM.  DO NOT HURRY, DO 3 MILE SLOWER, THEN POWER WALK WHEN IT IS EASY TO REACH THIS MARK.  GET GOOD SHOES ALSO.  HEAD HIGH, ARMS SWINGING, WALK FAST AS POSSIBLE, MARK OUT YOUR MILEAGE BY AUTO AND KNOW THE ROUTE, CHANGE IT ALSO TO MAKE IT FUN, WALK WHERE U SEE PEOPLE, ETC.
IF U HAVE A PET OLD ENOUGH TO DO THIS TAKE IT ALONG.  ALSO, RIDE A BIKE IN BETWEEN WEEKLY UP AND DOWN HILLS, WORK TO REACH YOUR GOAL U HAVE SET BE IT 5 MILE OR 7?

I USED TO BIKE TEN MILE, IT HELPED SAVE MY KNEES, HIPS ETC.
GET A GOOD MOUNTAIN BIKE AND RIDE SOME TRAILS, VERY NICE AND FUN, TAKE ALONG A FRIEND, OR U WILL SEE OTHERS, STOP AND TALK AND MAKE FRIENDS.  FORGET ABOUT A DIVORCE, MY SON IS NOW GOING THROUGH ONE, AT FIRST IT WAS HELL, NOW SINCE APRIL 13 WHEN SHE WALKED OUT, HE IS NOW LIVING SOMEWHAT NORMAL MENTALLY.  HE IS SEEING A NICE GIRL AND DOING THINGS, GOING TO CHURCH, SHOPPING HE NEVER WOULD DO WITH THE OTHER ONE, BUYING CLOTHES HE NEVER DID BEFORE, GOING TO FESTIVALS, ETC.

DO THINGS, WALK AND HAVE FUN, FORGET ABOUT BEING SO SERIOUS ABOUT LIFE.  TAKE EACH DAY AND LIVE IT TO THE FULLEST, WE ONLY HAVE ONE TIME AROUND AND DO NOT LET ONE MISHAP DESTRY YOU.  HAVE FUN, GO OUT, YOUR GOING TO LOOSE THIS WEIGHT IN TIME, NOT OVER NIGHT, SO HAVE FUN WHILE CUTTING CARBS, EXERCISING IS GREAT FOR THE BODY AND MIND, U WILL FEEL SO GOOD AFTER WALKING EVERY DAY.  SEEING THE LBS DROP OFF SLOWLY.  GO FOR IT AND LIVE!
