rigging a windsurfing sail

2016/7/22 14:38:13

Question
I have a fanatic 5.6 power cut sail by A.R.T. and don't understand how to rig the boom to the mast can you help? Are their instructions with pictures somewhere online that I can find? It was purchased used with no instructions.

Answer
Hey Phil,

On the AllExperts site, put 'running ropes' in the search window. The top article is a detailed description of rigging a tie on and clamp on type boom that I wrote for another questioner, Kimberly. It should get you on rigged up. You can also Google 'rigging a windsurfer' and you should find some links with video instruction. Also, for some decent sailing instruction, check out www.winsurfingmag.com in the 'how to' section.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
