Non-Brand Name vs. Brand Name

2016/7/16 9:29:38

Question
I am really trying to make a smart and good investment, but
I am having trouble deciding whether I should buy a non-
brand bike from crosslakesales.com or another fixed with a
brand attached to it. I asked someone earlier and they
questioned the quality of the frame. What should I be
looking for in the frame? What would you recommend? A 49cm
non-brand form crosslakesales.com or something like a 49cm
clockwork made by windsor?

Answer
Hello Drew,

Sometimes it can be that a No-name can be very good, but nowadays the most frames come from the far east like China and Taiwan.
A couple of years ago there was/is a brand Kinesis who's making very good frames. But I don't know if they still excist.
I don't know the brands you talked about, just give me a couple of days to check them out.
Maybe that I can find some "good" news.

Most of the times is a standard frameset from a better quality from $ 1000,00 with components quit good (light and stabil).
Like Giant, Specialized and Trek's.

But, give me a reminder in a few days.

Best regards,

Mike
