Bicycle question

Question
I recently bought a beach cruiser for my g/f who is rather short (5'3) and is unable to ride it as her toes barely touch the ground when on it. The seat is all the way down and my question is, is there ANY way possible to lower the bike 2-3 inches, maybe buying smaller wheels? Any help is appreciated!

Answer
Hello Eric,

Nice to hear there are new beach cruisers in town.
Unfortunately the ride is to big for here.
When she can't make is with the seat down and barely touch
the ground, simply the bike is to large.
You can maybe buy smaller wheels (when you having 28" wheels).
But when you are driving v-brakes you'll need also a adapterset from Mavic to lower the brakeset as well. If you have 26", I think this is the size and the simple way is to buy her a smaller bike.
Is he bike bought by a local bike shop, let your girlfriend ride some sizes of several bike to find out what ridin' well.

Sorry that I can't help you more.

When you do need more info, just let me know.
