motorized bike question

Question
Hi, this question might seem sacriligious to some enthusiasts, but  my question is about MOTORIZED bikes (2-stroke) such as the sachs motor or similar.
Specifically, I'd like to know if they provide practical assistance when riding up hills. I live at the bottom of a large Mountain with a winding road to the top, and have often wondered.
Will such a motor give any assistance? Take the edge off a steep climb?

look forward to your reply
sincerely,
Michael

Answer
I have no experience with such equipment. Obviously, it will make the rides uphill and against the wind a lot easier.

As for the sacrilege, it all depends what you're after. If a motor makes you enjoy bicycling more, than that's it, right ? Tormenting yourself with "why am I not pedalling it all by myself ?" will not make anyone happier.
