Question
Question from one Mike to another!

Hi, my question is about MOTORIZED bikes (2-stroke) such as sachs.
Specifically, I'd like to know if they provide practical assistance when riding up hills. I live at the bottom of a large Mountain with a winding road to the top (quite unlike the bike-friendly terrain of Amsterdam!)

Will such a motor give me any assistance. I'm willing to do half the pedal work, but I could never make it up there on pedal-power alone.

So my question is - will the sachs motor (or similar) help me get up there?

look forward to your reply
sincerely,
Michael

Answer
Hallo Michael,

I don't know if I can answer this question in Dutch or even in English.
But I don't understand your question quit good!
Do you have a bike with a Sachs engine like a Spartamet or even more like a scooter?
And which mountain do you mean, Spaarnwoude, a bridge or somewhere else?

Kind regards,

Michael
