electric start conversion kit for 2005 Mercury 25 hp outboard engine

Hello -
I was wondering if there is an after-market conversion kit for a 2005 Mercury 25 hp 4-stroke outboard engine available. My dad bought a boat/engine in a private sale and is having difficulty with the pull start. Mercury does not currently make a conversion kit for this engine.

Frankly, I have no idea what's out there and available in the way of converting an '05 25hp o/b from manual to electric start. I suggest you consult a local marina to determine whether it is economically sound to do so. You might find a pre-owned electric start engine at a bargan price, but you'll need to do your homework and go beyond home town.
