Question
Dear Sir, i have fluid leaking near the connection to th motor, i thought maybe there was a tiny hole or split, but, i  removed the connector form the motor, and couldn't see anything. Do you think that it might have been loose,if not, how would i change the connector, or is it big job?
thank-you for your time...bruce fitzsimmons

Answer
Hi Bruce...thank you for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

Unfortunately, You didn't describe the make or type of engine you have nor the type of connector involved. When someone else turns the steering wheel, it activates the hydraulic system, and puts the fluid under pressure, so you should be able to see where the leak  exists, whether the connector was loose.

If you're unable to handle the troubleshooting, I recommend you consult a qualified and reliable marine mechanic.
