Question
YAMAHA 60 HP 2003 VIBRATION GOING UP AROUND 2300/2700 RPM
SMOOTHES OUT ON PLANE NEW PLUGS NEW PROP
NO VIBRATION IN NEUTRAL

Answer
Hi Ed...Thank you for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

I'm not a mechanic, however, did you make sure the engine is properly secured to the transom. Sometimes, the bolts release due to vibration, then create more vibration during low-mid-range acceleration/speeds.

Check the prop shaft and be certain it is not bent, and that the prop is correctly balanced, both of which can cause a vibration.

Maybe its the timing? Could there be some hull defect causing the problem?

I recommend you consult a qualified and reliable marine mechanic to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
