How far from shore does my private property extend, in Ontario.

Hi Lorna...Thanks for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question. By the way, I'm not very knowledgeable concerning how far from shore private property extends into the water.

Check the dimensions contained in the original survey and determine if the municipality, county, or province has made any subsequent revisions to the law. I do know the ministry of natural resources limits the length of extension of docks out into the water. Initially, I'd consult a local real estate broker to obtain further guidance.
