colic or laminitis in race

2016/7/15 11:21:25

Question
hello sir, do horses get struck by colic and laminitis all of a sudden while running in the race?

Answer
hi --i know horses to get colic after a race or before a race. LAMINITIS comes on quickly for most any reason though. most founder comes from improper cooling out of the horse with too much water too fast after a hard workout or a race. thanks ED HESS
