trotting a horse

hello sir, how long can i trot a racehorse of any age and any gender, i mean to say, 1/2 hour or 1 hour. what about distance?

hi -- well you can trot the horse as long as you want to, depending the amount of training you plan to do. lots of time we just trot the horse in the morning on the race track to get them loosened up, then go on and gallop a mile and a half during the reg training period on the race track. thanks ED HESS
