hello sir, how can i get to know that my mount is swallowing its tongue??

HI-- YOU WILL NOTICE THE SHORTNESS OF HIS BREATHING AND HIS SLOWING DOWN. YOU CAN USE A TONGUE TIE ON EVERY HORSE TO SEE IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. I ALWAYS USED A TONGUE TIE ON ALL OF MY HORSES TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY DID NOT SWALLOW THEIR TONGUE WHILE RACING. THANKS ED HESS
