Question
Hi. My name Is Emily. I would like to know how to get started with the horse racing bisiness? I would like to know what kind of supplies I would need like tack, workouts, feed, and ect? I would also like to know the average of how much I would need to spend? How often does the horse have to work out? How do you know your horse is a sprinter or a long distance racer? I also thank you all for taking the time to read my questions and to answer them  Thank you!

Answer
hi emily , well to get started in the race horse buisness you will have a undying love for the horse. if you have that you can do anything you want to. you should start by working at a horse farm for awhile and get to know horses, the feeding , the grooming and the leg work. then you can get a job with a trainer at a race track and let him teach you the ropes. the horse would need dailey training and leg care, the right feed and just general horse sense. after doing that for awhile, then you should be ready to get your own horse. you have to be a devoted person to make it work in the racing buisness. hope this helps you  good luck  thanks ED HESS
