Behaviour of ex racehorse

Question
Hi, I bought my 16.1 TB mare last May (2011), she turned 7 this May. I have been taking things very slowly with her as she obviously needs re-schooling for the discipline of dressage which is what I aim to do with her.  Within the last 6 to 8 weeks I have started doing natural horsemanship with her and this is going well. Approx 2 weeks ago whilst in the field it was noted by someone on the yard that my horse appeared to be drunk!!! You may well laugh!!! She was apparently stood in the field (it was a wet and damp morning and she was wearing a summer rug)and it appeared that she couldn't move! When she did move it looked as though she was going to fall over, but the bit that I'm very intrigued by is that her head and neck looked like an elephants trunk! It was hanging down towards the ground and just swinging from side to side as she was walking.  Along with this, both of her front legs when walking were swinging out in circles rather than just striding out in front of her!  I'm just wondering if you can by any chance offer any ideas as to what this may be?  It lasted no more than an hour in total.  By this time we had put her in the schooling area and within less than a minute she was trotting around and acting as though absolutely nothing had happened!  The same thing happened on Tuesday just gone (31.8.12) but no where near as severe and not lasting anywhere near as long as before.  Once the lady went to bring her out of the field, she then started trotting and appeared to be perfectly okay, showing no signs of lameness or stiffness.  she was lunged later that evening and again, was perfectly sound.  I'm seeming to think it could be a nerve getting trapped either where the neck joins the chest, or may up in the poll area!  Do you by any chance have any idea what this may be?!!!
Many thanks in anticipation

Answer
hi -- my advise would be, have your vet go thru the horse and check out the horse for a problem and then have a physic come read the horse and compare the results. most of the times the physic can find out the problem for you. i have used physics before with great results. thanks ED HESS
