Collegiate runner and heartburn

2016/7/22 10:07:15

Question
Hi John,
My daughter is a D1 runner (distance) and has been competitively running since a very young age. She has had no serious medical conditions except occasional ovarian cysts (regulated now with Nuevo ring). During the past six months she has experienced persistant heartburn, stomach cramping, and occassional cold sweats-she says her chest feels like it it on fire. Her coach thinks maybe acid reflux? Yet she eats a bland diet? Any thoughts, I am worried.

Answer
Hi Amy
Would it be possible to talk about this over the phone, since i would need to ask many questions to get some history and drill down with some clarity on various subjects to respond properly? If you want you can contact me from my web site.I can talk any time from 6am mt to 8pm here in albuquerque NM.

All the best

John
