About kneepain

Question
Sir,
I go for one hour regular walking  everyday. But after 30 minutes walking,I feel my left knee is swelling and also have slight pain in the whole left leg for the past one week.So I split my walking hours such that 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening.
Then also, the same problem continues.I find my left leg is weightier than right leg.I am 36 years old and my weight is 6 kg. and my height is 157 cm.
Kindly advice me for the above problem.Expecting ur great advice.
       Thanking You.

Answer
It sounds like you might have some IT issues in that left leg. This could be a lot of things, what I would suggest, and this type of feeling you have, is something I experience after some hard trail marathon/ultras I do, where your hip/lower back actually comes out of alignment slightly, throwing off all the nerves on that side of your body/leg. It's amazing, but it can affect that area greatly, just as you are describing too.

Do this, if you have health insurance, normally this is all but covered with most doctors, but look up a chiropractor that specializes in athletes, runners, walkers, etc... Explain to them your issue, and I think that will fix you straight.
