Question
For light weights is a 7.19 a good enough score to have universities want you on their crew and also does it matter where you set your erg for your 2k test

Answer
Hi Warren: For college aged (19-29) lightweights, your time is below the mean time of 7:07 and the average time of 7:14.  However, a person can make a boat over someone with a better 2K, if their on-water technique is superior.

All things considered, most college lightweight programs would give you a tryout and put you in a some lightweight boat, if not Varsity.

Good Luck/AP
