Question
Hi Sir, I have a Winchester 16 ga model 97 pump, full choke, that I got from my father.  Unless I'm blind, I don't find it on the Winchester site.  The patent dates stamped are from Nov 25 '90 to Jul 5 '10 I need a little more information and where to find a blueprint to tear it down.  It' pristine except the pump arm doesn't lock on the bolt completely but it works fine if you're used to it.  ....and watch your thumb when you breach it!

Thank you kindly
Steve Ziegler

Answer
Hello Steve,

Your gun is also called the model 1897, which would yield more search results incase you cared to look further into your gun. Here are a few parts schematics for it.
