Question
Mr. Gage,I have two 20 gauge shotguns. One is a Wards Western Field Model#93M-210A and the other is a 20 gauge Mossberg model#185D-B.I wonder if they are related and the age of both of theem. The apperance of both shotguns a the same complete with pistol grip stocks. My son bought them in a yard sale and wanted to know a little more about them. If you can help us it will be appreaciated.Thanks-Joseph

Answer
Hello Joseph. The two guns are almost identical in manufacture. They were both manufactured by Mossberg. The Wards Western Field Model 93M-210A is the Mossberg 85B built from 1934-40. The Mossberg Model 185D-B was built from 1947-59. The value of these guns, depending on condition, is from $50.00-$150.00. I hope this answers your question and thank you for asking for me.
