Sid, I'd like to purchase a good condiotion Mauser with stock. Graded good to excellent, also I've always wanted a WWI long barreled mauser if available.Where could I find these for sale. Any help appreciated. Tks Drake

These firearms can most easily be located at some of the larger gun shows that allow the display and sale of military weapons etc. Since I have no way of knowing your area and region, you'll need to do some research about upcoming events in your area. If you are a N.R.A. member, there is always a list of gun shows in various parts of the country.

Internet sales/information sites are another location in which they will often turn up for sale. IE. www.gunbroker.com at the moment there are about 15 or 20 listed. Also.... www.gunsamerica.com, www.armchairgunshow.com, www.auctionarms.com, www.collectorsfirearms.com, www.gunrunnerauctions.com

Additionally I suggest picking up a copy of Shotgun News which usually will have a quantity of Mauser C96's listed too.

I would think that after searching the above listed locations, you'll find enough information as to what you what and a general idea of what it is going to cost you.
