Value of 700 ADL 30.06

Question
I have a Remington 700 ADL 30.06, 22 inch barrel with a wooden stock (Walnut?), that I purchased in 1992 and can be considered NIB without the box ... absolutely no dings, dents, marks, scratches or blemishes! It has been in a foam lined hard case (which I抦 going to keep) since I purchased it. It has a Redfield Partner 3x -9x scope with see through rings and rifle sights. This rifle has only been fired 10 times; at a range. Can you give me an estimated of the value of this rifle because I want to sell it?

Answer
Hi Bobby,

The Remington 700 ADL is a very popular rifle as is the 30.06 caliber. The scope that you have mounted is also a nice addition. You should have very little trouble selling if that is what you decide to do.

The 700 ADL is available with either a 22" or 24" barrel, open sights, four shot mag., blued with a checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock. It was introduced in 1962.

Your rifle in the condition that you describe has a retail value of $325 to $375 not including the scope, rings, mounts etc. If it were in "New In Box" condition it could be worth as much as $425. However, it sounds more like it qualifies as "Exc." condition.

Hope this helps you decide if to sell and/or how much to ask. Thanks for the question Bobby.
