Bindings with different boots

2016/7/15 11:39:36

Question
I started a new hobby-I bought a 154cm. Rust Mono Hull snowboard with bindings however the boots didnt come with it. Can I buy a different brand boots? How do I go about getting boots? Will any size fit?

Answer
Hey Jessica,

I'm guessing that your bindings are the strap in type bindings. If so, then just about any boot will work. Try to go with the highest qualiy boot that you can afford. The better the boot, the more comfortable you will be. Look for somthing that you can tighten the laces yourself. Lower quality boots are hard to lace up sometimes and that leads to problems. If you are looking to save some $'s, go to your local shops and try on a variety of boots. When you find some you like, look online and you may find a better price. If you want good customer service after you buy, buy at your local shop.

Hope this helps,
Windlover
