BIC Windsurfer

Question
I have a 25 year old Bic Windsurfer with a 6' sail.  I think the board is 12 or 13 feet long.  I am trying to sell it and don't know where to look or how to go about finding a reasonable price to put it up on Craigs List.  Is this something you could help me do?  I appreciate any help you can give me.

Answer
Hey Terry,

The main thing about selling your old board is that ALL the parts are there. If the mast base is missing, then the board is practically useless as you can get an old style mast base any more. Also, the daggerboard is not replaceable either.

That being said, boards that old just don't have much value. If you can get $50 for it, take it and be happy to have the board off your hands. If you can't sell it, donate it to a kids camp or similar organization and take a $100 donation off your taxes.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
Windlover
