Hood River Sails - spare parts

2016/7/22 14:38:50

Question
Hello,
I bought a second hand Hood River brand sail (6.6), and after about a year I lost one of the camber inducers.  It is an old style one with two plastic arms and a single piece of webbing between them.

I have been googling for about an hour and I can't find a single thing that leads me to believe Hood River is even in business anymore.  Any advice for a recreational windsurfer just looking to find a spare part?
Thanks.

Answer
Hey Jim,

Here are some shops in Hood River that may remember Hood River sails and possibly know what type of aftermarket camber inducer would work for your sail. You can Google any of these to find their websites. Try Windance, Big Winds, and Sailworks. They have all been around Hood River for a long time and should be able to help you out. Send a pic of your camber inducer so they will have something to reference to.

Hope this helps.
Keep on sailing,
Windlover
