yacht & boat bottom paint

Hello, I own a Yacht detailing company, in NY and Florida, I need a certificate or license to be able to paint the boats, I can not find a school that provides with that service. Can you help me find one in NYC?, do you have any suggestions?

I do not know of any municipal, county, state, or federal legislation requiring you to possess a certificate or license of any kind in order to paint boats. Perhaps you would be kind enough to enlighten me as to what such document represents or means.

There is such a thing as a "business license", which is usually issued by municipalities, counties or states. If a business is mobile, there may be a requirement for the vehicle to prominently display the business name and business license no.

I recommend you consult some other firm in the same line of work as yourself and inquire of them as to the necessity of becoming licensed and where such a license is obtainable. There may be tax benefits associated with businesses.
