cd changer

Question
Hey I'm planning on installing a 10-disc CD changer on a 2003 Bayliner. I want to know if it would be simple to install myself or if I should go to a professional. My Bayliner dealor is a well respected man and I trust his service but he said that I could possibly install it myself, even without any prior experience in electrical workings or installation. So do you think that I should install myself or seek professional help? Thank you for your time.

Answer
Tom,
Most of the electronic items can be self installed if you have just basic electrical knowledge. You may want to look over the install instructions that come with the changer and then make a decision as to whether you could install the changer yourself. In most cases the time to install an item is much less than the time it takes to take off panels and open up access areas to run wires and cables.
