colts bumping onto fillies and mares

Question
QUESTION: hello sir, should the colts which jump or bump onto fillies and mares during the race be gelded?

ANSWER: You will not find too many fillies and mares in races with colts and geldings. I can't say whether a horse should be gelded if he is doing so because there are many inexplicable reasons for horses, of all types, to display awkward behavior.

QUESTION: sir, then how should a trainer decide to geld a racing colt?

Answer
There are plenty of stallions to breed to presently and in my opinion all colts should be gelded unless they are royally bred top to bottom and have no flaws. I have not seen a horse of this quality in a while. Poor performing colts have a hard time finding homes for new careers because they may be hard to handle and may require separate paddocking.
