quantity of hay to feed racehorses

Question
hello sir, then in how much quantity to feed hay in the morning, and in how much quantity to feed hay in the evening time? which breed of hay you feed to racehorses?

Answer
HI -- I FEED TIMOTHY HAY WHICH IS NOT TOO HIGH IN PROTIEN. TOO MUCH PROTIEN IS BAD FOR THE HORSE. I FEED A HAY BAG OF HAY TO THE HORSE ATER THEY GO TO THE TRACK AND ARE COOLED OUT.   THEN AT NIGHT I FILL UP THE HAY BAG AGAIN FOR THE NIGHT. I WOULD THINK THAT WOULD BE ABOUT HALF BALE OF HAY PER DAY PER HORSE. THANKS ED HESS
