uses of ball jointed snaffles

Question
hello sir, what are the uses of using ball jointed snaffles on horses?

Answer
hi -- as i said, always use the bit on the horse to see if it can control the horse. if it controls the horse, then you can race them in the bit. every trainer has a bit for every horse. some bits have more control on a horse with a certain problem. i always start with the easiest bit and work up if i need to. thanks ED HESS
