differentiate forage and fodder

Question
hello sir, please differentiate forage and fodder

Answer
hi-- i am not sure what you mean  between forage and fodder. i think forage is something that the horse just forages around and eats what they can find to eat while being out in the pasture.  fodder would be some sort of feed that would have been made up and stored for like the winter feed when it is harder m to come by. thanks ED HESS
