Question

D ring snaffle
Hello sir, may I know when does a trainer get to know to use a D ring snaffle on a horse, instead of a loose ring or eggbutt snaffle?? I mean to say, for what type of horses does a trainer use D ring bit??

Answer
hi-- a ring bit is used on a basic horse that may need just a little bit of control. then there is a Dexter ring bit snaffle , which is just a d bit with the added ring to give the rider a little bit more control in a race. a D bit is for a horse that is a very good easy going horse. remember to use a very easy bit on a horse unless they need more control. thanks ED HESS
