2016/7/15 11:25:26

Question
Last week 1000m race report:ELITA (R.B. SHINDE) fell and dislodged the rider at about the 650 metres. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the filly sustained fracture of sacral vertebra.  Jockey R.B. Shinde was rendered immediate medical aid and is under observation.  ELITA was put down on humanitarian grounds.sir, how should I face this problem if my horse suffers from sacral vertebra fracture

Answer
hi when a accident happens on the race track, it is up to the state vet to make the decision on ehat to do for the horse. sometimes the horse is so brke down that the only thing to do is to destoy the horse. you as the trainer or owner may also make that decision. thanks ED HESS
