Question
Hi, I am about to buy a TB that has been off the track for many years but had no trainer besides in this last year. I rode him and had a great time. My only question was of his problem with cross cantering when going to the right. He has a hard time holding his right lead for very long. They said he just hasn't had much work done building up balance and muscle on that side. Does this sound right, or is this maybe a problem that this horse has?

Answer
hi it may just be that the horses has not had that much training using his right lead, but then again it could be because of a problem and he just doesn't feel comfortable using the right lead.you can always have a vet check him out for you.  thanks ED HESS
