Hi, my question is, what would be a better way to show my horse how to
come out fast a straight from the gates. Like a plan to show him?

well  -- it is up to the horse to break from the gate, but if he or she is breaking slowly, then you should try a pair of full cup blinkers on the horse. this will keep his mind on the business on hand and breaking from the gate. some times the gate crew will give him or her a love tap with a whip when the bell rings, so they get the idea to break fast when the bell rings. hope this helps you  thanks ED HESS
