Thoroughbred Pedigree Research: Resources & Information

Question
I somehow thought that finding out more about a thoroughbred would be
easy. Not so.  
I'm looking for information  on a lovely TB gelding named Political Maneuver.
Born 2003.  He is a bit of a pet right now, as he can no longer run, but he is
such a nice guy, everyoe wants to know more about his family history.  And of
course I am curious too.  Any free sites I can look into???

You can try looking him up on www.pedigreequery.com, but bear in mind that all of the information on this site is inputted by the users, and so is somewhat unreliable.  The best place to find reliable and accurate info is to go to www.equineline.com, which is owned by the Jockey Club, but they do charge a fee for thier reports.
