Question
Hi,
On joining the local wellness center gym facility, I was extremely excited to use the treadmills for cardiovascular exercises and burning fat .

A week later , I had to completely end my sessions as my knees were sore and inflamed . I made sure I gave my knees enough rest and also took anti inflammatory medication. It is almost 2 months now and I feel like getting back to the gym and start exercising in the correct way .

Where did I go wrong ? . How do I start again without discontinuing and harming my knees ? . Please advise

Farhaad

Answer
I'm not sure where you went wrong because I have no idea what you were doing, in the whole realm of things, to begin with.  I don't know how long your sessions where, what intensities they were at, or how frequently you did them.  All that could be part of the result you had.  Also, I don't know if you are heavier-set, new to running, or even if you just walked on the treadmills.  See where I'm going here?  I have very little background info to work with, so I'm afraid I can't answer your questions.
