Question
Hi John,

Me again! Calf seems to be making a steady recovery. Still get the odd pain though. I havnt been running since the 19th of last month. So its ben awhile... Do you think calf support(stretcth bandage) would work, just to ensure i don't mess my calf up again+rumour has it that you should not rely on support too much?

Thanks again,
Dylan

Answer
Hi Dylan
I would just keep doing what you have been doing, since it seems to be responding nicely. No support or strech bandage. It is allways hard to know when to test the waters, but that is the way it is and the price we pay for getting into the situation and being an athlete.I was out 8 months years ago from chondromalacia in which no doctors could help.I did it myself, and that is when i got into the injury business and very few things get past me.Be patient and keep focused and you will win in time.I hope your still taking the 500mg vit c with your 3 meals a day.

Nice to hear from you

John
