out of fuel for my run

Question
I've been jogging/walking for 4 miles in increments for the past 2 1/2 mo.  I jog for 10min and walk for 5min.  I do cardio 6 days/wk.  For 4 of those days,I do cardio Tae Bo for 45 min in the morning and in the evening jog 1 mi. straight and speed walk for the rest of the 3 miles.  On the weekend is when I do my jog/walk increments.  On some days I can up my jogging increment about 2-3 min more, but for my past 4 runs which would be the past 2 weekends, Im finding it very hard to complete my increments if I'm even able to complete it at all.  I feel like my energy is burning fast and end up lowering the timing on my increments instead of advancing. Like today on my 2nd round for my 10 min jog, I felt like I was going to die right before I finished and had to speed walk the rest of the 2 miles and I dont understand why this has been happening.  I would think that my body would be getting used to my increments in my jogging routine and that I would be able to up my timing.  As additional information, I do take my son with me in his stroller and make sure to never grip the handle tight to avoid burning excess energy but that was never a problem before when I started.  What could be the problem?

Answer
Hi Toyin
There are a number of things that could cause your situation such as diet and just plain overtraing.Since your new to this stuff, your body has not caught up.Just remember, without rest there will be no growth. With out knowing your age ,height weight.fitness background. It just seems to me your taking on to much and you should take a few rest brakes.I hope this helps Toyin.Resting is hard to do sometimes when you enjoy it so much.

To your success

John
