Climbing Rope

Question
I found a great deal on some "test parachord" and was wondering if it is safe to climb with. It has a 520 lbs. capacity but other than that I know nothing about it. Do you know anything about this type of rope? Thanks!

Answer
No! That is not safe to climb with!
A climbing rope is only about $100 bucks. I'm sure your life is worth much more than that. Most climbing equipment has a min. breaking strength of 22kn (about 4,500lbs.)Don't be thrifty when your life is on the line.
