Question
hi there! i have a mistral pandera board with the adjustable/sliding track. i have not used the board for some years and im planning on using it again but when i checked the board the  slider seems stuck and wont move....is there a fix for this? also the lever where you press to adjust the track on the board has a crack on it its another reason why i cant put pressure on pressing the slider lever because it my break... is there a place where i can buy the lever for the sliding track?  thank you very much!!!

Answer
Hey Martin,

The slider can usually be broke free with hot water. Set the board flat and fill the track as full as you can with the hottest water your tap will provide. Let it soak a few hours and try to manually move it. It may take an overnight soak.

But, if your lever is cracked and won't release the track, then your track system is pretty much useless. There just aren't parts available for those older mast tracks.

You can still use the track but it will be a fixed position system. You will have to remove your track from the board and get the slider out of the track. Then you install a slider nut in the track for the base to attach to. You can move the base to the location you want and then tighten it down.

Get a slider nut here;

Hope this helps.
